The Maasai Mara and the Serengeti are two parts of the same ecosystem, divided by the Kenya–Tanzania border. This safari crosses between them by road, so you experience both sides of the migration's range.
After two nights in the Mara you cross at Isebania into Tanzania, spend two nights in the Serengeti and finish with the Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 1 / Nairobi → Maasai Mara
Leave Nairobi in the morning via the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and Narok, reaching the Maasai Mara for an afternoon game drive.
Day 2 / Maasai Mara National Reserve
A full day in the reserve with packed lunches, crossing the plains towards the Mara River.
Day 3 / Maasai Mara → Isebania → Serengeti
A final morning drive across the Mara, then on to the Isebania border for immigration and into the Serengeti.
Day 4 / Serengeti National Park
A full day of game viewing in the Serengeti, following the herds where they are that season.
Day 5 / Serengeti → Ngorongoro
About six hours of game viewing on the way out of the Serengeti, then the drive to the Ngorongoro area, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge.
Day 6 / Ngorongoro Crater → Arusha
Breakfast with views over the crater, a game drive on the crater floor with a picnic lunch, then the drive to Arusha.

Kenya–Tanzania safaris cross at Namanga or Isebania/Sirari. Allow time for immigration on both sides and carry your passport, visas or eTA and any vaccination certificates required for your nationality and route. Check current entry requirements before you travel.

Pack in a soft bag where possible; space is shared and you may move between vehicles at the border.
