What we do

Safaris for every kind of traveller.

Our collection runs from short group-joining trips into the Maasai Mara and Amboseli to the Tanzania northern circuit, cross-border Kenya and Tanzania journeys, gorilla trekking in Uganda and guided climbs on Africa's two highest mountains.

The approach

Why travel with Absolute?

01

Planned from Nairobi

Our office is in central Nairobi, where most of our Kenya safaris begin and where you can visit us.

02

Routes you can read

Every safari on this site shows its day-by-day route, where you stay and what is included.

03

Honest about prices

Many budget safaris show a published price. Where a price depends on your dates, we say so and quote in writing.

04

Group or private

Join a shared departure to keep costs down, or travel privately at your own pace.

05

Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda

From the Maasai Mara to the Serengeti and Bwindi's gorillas, with combined Kenya and Tanzania routes.

06

Wildlife stays wild

We plan for the best chances, but we never promise particular sightings, crossings or summits.

From first message to safari

The journey begins before you travel.

  1. 01

    Tell us about your trip

Share your dates, travellers, interests and the places you have in mind, through Plan My Safari, WhatsApp, phone or email.

  2. 02

    Shape the itinerary

We suggest a route and accommodation that fit, and adjust it with you.

  3. 03

    Confirm in writing

You receive a written quote with the route, stays, inclusions, price and booking terms before you commit.

  4. 04

    Prepare to travel

We confirm pick-up details and practical information for your journey.

  5. 05

    Begin the journey

Your driver-guide meets you at the agreed pick-up point, usually your Nairobi or Arusha hotel or the airport.

On the road

How you'll travel.

Our Kenya and Tanzania safaris travel in 4×4 safari Land Cruisers with pop-up roofs, so everyone can stand to watch and take photographs. Your quote confirms the vehicle arrangements for your trip. Cross-border safaris explain where and how you change between Kenya and Tanzania.

Travelling thoughtfully

A little more care in the wild.

  • Wildlife remains wild

Sightings cannot be guaranteed. Conditions, season and animal behaviour shape every day.

  • Respectful viewing

Guides keep a respectful distance and follow the rules of each park and reserve.

  • People and place

Community visits are optional and arranged with the hosts' agreement.

  • Mountains with care

On treks and climbs, your guide's decisions about weather and health always come first.
