Useful answers

Questions travellers ask.

How hard is Kilimanjaro?

No technical skills are needed, but summit night is long and cold at high altitude. Good preparation helps.

How many days should I climb Kilimanjaro?

Our climbs run from five to seven days. Longer itineraries give most climbers a better chance on summit night because they allow more time to acclimatise.

How much does a Kilimanjaro climb cost?

Our Kilimanjaro climbs are priced on request, because park fees and crew numbers depend on the route, length and group size.

How high is the summit?

Uhuru Peak is 5,895 m, the highest point in Africa.
