The experience

At a glance.

The Great Migration is the year-round movement of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles around the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem, following rain and fresh grazing. Where the herds are depends on the month and on that year's rainfall.

On this safari your guide plans the full Serengeti day around the latest information about the herds. Sightings, and especially river crossings, can never be guaranteed, but the Serengeti is rewarding at any time of year.
