Day 1 / Arusha → Tarangire National Park
Meet your Tanzanian driver-guide in Arusha for a briefing, then a game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Day 2 / Lake Manyara National Park → Karatu
A game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, known for its birdlife, forest troops of baboons and monkeys, and lions that sometimes rest in trees. Overnight near Karatu.
Day 3 / Karatu → Serengeti
Drive to the Serengeti, reaching the gate at midday, then explore the plains and kopjes on the way to your lodge.
Day 4 / Serengeti National Park
A full day with packed lunches. Your route depends on the latest information about the herds and predators.
Day 5 / Serengeti → Ngorongoro
A final Serengeti game drive, then the drive to the Ngorongoro area, with an optional stop at Olduvai Gorge.
